EXTRA-CURRICULA ACTIVITIES
SCHOOL SPORT:
Boys: Summer: swimming, athletics, tee ball and sports electives.
Winter:
soccer, rugby league and hockey . COMPUTERS:St Kevin's is equipped with Windows XP networked desktop computers and a mobile bank of Macbook laptops. There are thirty three computers in the ICT Resource room where students have access to the internet and educational software that offer variety and encourages creativity. Each classroom is equipped with one to two networked computers which allow for easy access throughout the day. There is a mobile laptop lab which is used in the classrooms to complete rich tasks that integrate with the curriculum. Because St Kevin's sees the use of Information Technology as an integral part of a student's education, the school employs an Information Technology teacher. FRENCH:
THE ARTS:
Music forms part of the normal school curriculum and each child attends lessons with Mrs Catherine Donoghue who covers all aspects of singing, listening, creating, recorder playing and theory. As well as this, private music tutors can be contacted for the following instruments:

ART CLASSES:
Chess classes are held after school every Thursday afternoon. Teachers are rostered on for the supervision of this activity. Tennis lessons are available before and after school with TCA (Tennis Coaches Australia) Junior Development Coach, Jonathan Albertini. Lessons are held on Thursday and Friday mornings 7:30-8:30am or after school between 3:00-4:00pm on Tuesday through Friday and can be booked on 0407 933 305 or via email on j.albertini@live.com.au |
